The hydraulic bottle jack on the left is a standard Harbor Freight model. The one on the right was a special order from Amazon.

What makes it special is that it will work laying on its side.

The problem is the jack falls past 90° when laid over.

So I made this stand out of an old plastic cutting board.

The stand slips over the bottle section.

And it holds the jack at a perfect 90° angle.
